Ref ID: 01911988Classification: Digital CopywriterCompensation: $30.00 to $35.00 hourlyJob DescriptionThe Senior Digital Copywriter will write and develop messaging for online marketing platforms, including but not limited to Google Display Network, in-product web banners, social media, email communications, social media posts, memes, web banners, animation, and campaign landing pages. They will ensure we deliver a compelling and clear value proposition with strong calls to action to all of our digital marketing efforts, delivering on the business strategies across all product and service offerings. They leverage and convert brand messaging to suit the online and digital channels, working in and around our marketing technology platforms and templates to determine the best possible way to engage and convert customers. They interact cross-functionally with other marketing team members in Marketing Operations, Creative, Product Marketing and Demand Generation.Job Requirements:Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional and Technical Knowledge

  • Conceptualize, research, write and edit copy that meets standards in communicating to internal and external audiences (accuracy, tone, style, brand and business objectives, trademarking, and grammar) and delivers on communication objectives
  • Take initiative in generating ideas and suggestions on digital content strategy and solutions.
  • Understand and speak in the voice of the brand through email, advertising, and landing page copy
  • Leverage and convert brand messaging to suit the online and digital channel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong command of digital and email marketing best practices to optimize for conversion
  • Stay current on the latest trends in online communications, usability and search optimization.
  • Assist with offline advertising writing needs as they arise, may include but not limited to direct mails, newspaper, billboard, etc.Business and Industry Expertise
    • Consult with business teams and function as a Subject Matter Expert for copy needs and usage.
    • Builds collaborative partnerships with business leads and cross-functional partners and demonstrates category expertise
    • Utilizes analytics and reporting to evaluate performance on experiences and provide recommendations on low/no value work
    • Interpret campaign briefs, style guides, and vendor requirements, bringing them together into engaging customer experiences and messages
    • Ensure consistency with existing brand standards, templates, and style guides
    • Ability to assess web analytics or A / B testing into actionable improvements to the user experience
    • Understand current web trends, usability and standards, along with the tools and techniques for online experience development
    • Be immersed in ongoing digital news and stay informed of ever-changing best practices.
    • Drive best practice sharing with teamsProject Leadership
      • As the digital writing expert, shares digital copy best practices and brand guidelines with cross-functional partners to plan for and deliver business and/or campaign goals
      • Partners with other team members on cross-category initiatives and actively participates in group meetings and brainstorms
      • Support current processes and proactively identify areas for improvement
      • Provide training assistance on systems and/or processes with cross-functional partners (as appropriate) to support content needs
      • Develop category content management plans and processes for new initiatives
      • Proactively work with Project Manager to identify risks or challenges that may impact work being completed on time and source solutions accordingly
      • Must thrive in a fast-paced remote-work environment
      • Comfortable managing multiple copy assignments simultaneously while working in a collaborative setting.Basic Requirements
