Job Description:
We are looking for the right person to be the first point of
contact with prospective clients of our firm. We are looking for a
person who is great with the public and also knows how to get
someone to sign up for legal services. No law firm experience is
required, just a desire to learn and bring your skills for work for
our firm. These are warm leads that require nurturing.
The Sales Representative is responsible for consulting with new
clients and ensuring they are onboarded with the firm properly. The
position's main responsibility is to meet with new potential
clients and introduce the potential client to the firm and our
services. This person is one of the first people a prospective
client meets, so this person should be articulate and present
professionally on behalf of the firm. You will be selling our legal
services directly to the clients.
You must be able to convert inbound prospects into hiring our firm.
You will need to develop, nurture and enhance new and existing
relationships with clients. Part of your role will be checking in
with prior clients to just touch base with them after a file is
closed.
Our law firm practices statewide in all counties in the State of
Florida. Our firm is growing at a rapid pace and we need a great
person to fill this role to help the firm grow.
You need to be able to relate to people and be sympathetic to their
legal situation as you're going to spend a lot of time meeting with
prospective clients in person and on the phone talking to these
kinds of people:

--- People who have incapacitated family members
--- People who have property damage to their homes and the
insurnace company hasn't paid their claim

Responsibilities:
The Sales Representative's primary duties are:
--- Handle initial consultations with potential clients and get
clients to retain the law firm.
--- Must be articulate, client-oriented, caring, and responsive to
client calls and emails.
--- Meet monthly quota in converting potential clients to retained
clients.
--- Answer any non-legal questions raised by potential clients
regarding filling out forms, sending documents to the firm, signing
legal services agreements, or any other matter involving the
potential client's pre-engagement relationship with the firm.
--- Maintain accurate records to track the number of potential
clients who contact the firm, the number who come in for initial
consultations, and the number who engage the firm.
--- Update the lead management system with details of all
interactions with prospects and clients in a timely manner.
--- Prepare a weekly report to the Managing Attorney summarizing
the status of all referrals.
--- Contact potential clients who do not retain us after their
initial consultation to keep the door open for them to retain us
when they are ready.
--- Following up with potential clients who said "no" initially and
with current clients to conduct quality control calls and
interviews.
--- Contact past clients to express care and concern about their
lives and offer additional assistance, as needed.
--- Assess new potential clients and determine based on objective
and subjective criteria which of these should offer to be
retained.
--- Coordinate networking meetings with firm partners and potential
referral sources.
--- You will work closely with the firm partners, the marketing
department, and administration.
Qualifications:
--- Works closely with the Client Relations Specialist (intake
personnel) to ensure the prospective client and onboarding of new
client process is a smooth and professional process.
--- Must be confident, articulate, compassionate, and comfortable
representing the firm while emailing and/or speaking with potential
clients and clients.
--- Must be friendly and enjoy working with the public on a daily
basis.
--- Must understand how to sell services and how this differs from
selling products. We are a service industry.
--- Onboarding new clients following up with them to make sure they
have completed necessary paperwork to open a file and that they are
not lost in the onboarding process.
--- You must be self-motivating and self-directed to achieve your
professional goals and the firm's goals.
--- Must have sales and/or direct client relations experience.
--- The right candidate should have education and/or work
experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree.
--- You do not need to have experience working in a law firm or
selling legal services, just experience in selling services.
--- Strong organizational skills are a must as you will be
responsible for managing your own work with little oversight. We
provide CRM and other software to assist with this process.
--- The position will have weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual
sales goals that must be met for bonuses.
--- This is an in-office position as you will need to meet with
people in person in the office.
