Job DescriptionGrace Swaby-Smith,State Farm Agency, located in FortLauderdale, FL, is currently looking for a talented, caring individualto join our team. You'll play an important role in the operation of the agency.In partnership with the agency owner, you'll set strategy and initiate bestpractices for customer contact and monitor and measure the overalleffectiveness of agency loyalty initiatives and customer satisfaction efforts —with the ultimate goal of continuously strengthening and enhancing customerrelationshipsIf you have a passionfor customer care and a flair for understanding the needs and motivations ofpeople, we want you on our team! As our Customer Service Specialist, you'llwork to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall StateFarm Insurance customer experience.Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to:

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.You will receive:

      • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred

      • Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
      • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
      • Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
      • Life & Health license (must be able to obtain)This position is with aState Farm independent contractor agent, not with State FarmInsurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able tosuccessfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and trainingprograms. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their ownemployees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm.
