Expectations of this position:

--- Take every opportunity to amaze the guests.

--- Greet guests immediately with a smile providing accurate and helpful information.

--- Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance at all times in accordance with the uniform policy.

--- Actively solicit feedback from guests.

--- Register guests into the authorized system, verifying all information is accurate.

--- Accept payment from guests accurately registration and at checkout, when necessary.

--- Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts, daily.

--- Cash checks and exchange currency for guests.

--- Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints

--- Answer telephone promptly in the location assigned to, in accordance with the current policies.

--- Offer friendly, thorough, accurate, and efficient dispositions when making reservations.

--- Assist with shuttle or transportation services in a timely and courteous manner, when requested by guest.

--- Ability bend over (and/or) lift up to 30 pounds, assist guests in opening gates, up or down flights of stairs, and potentially across natural terranes.

--- Guest Service Agents are responsible for the cleanliness of offices, lobbies, and public areas in the hotel. Responsibilities include: checking guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, notifying proper departments of issues, and remaining mobile for larger hotel locations. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively with guests, and team members, and the ability to bend, lift and stand or walk all day.

--- Mobile responsibilities are subject but not limited to; trash pick up, and removal. Light cleaning duties, painting, relocating furniture, event setup and breakdown, as well as traveling to and from one office or building to another during slow or peak seasons depending on occupancy.

--- Use the guests' name when addressing him/her.

--- Be knowledgeable of the local area and events offering North Beach Village affiliated services first.

--- Handle messages, wake-up calls, mail, and faxes promptly and accurately.

--- Assist guests with laundry/dry cleaning needs.

--- Maximize incoming revenue when encountering a walk-in.

--- Identify and react to opportunities to sell rooms, including re-rents, last rooms available, and up-selling.

--- Have complete knowledge of resort rooms, function space, and any other offerings.

--- Ensure all customers establish credit upon check-in improving timeliness of cash flow by adhering to all established credit and inventory control procedures:

--- Verify all information on reservations check-in; name, address, method of payment, etc.

--- Retrieve proper name and address verification and proper approval codes for cash and credit card paying customers.

--- Identify and record special billing instructions and notify accounting.

--- Complete shift closing accurately by getting appropriate approval signatures and authorization codes.

--- Adhere to resort policies regarding the use of cash banks.

--- Stay current with developments in the resort by reviewing the communication log book each shift; update log book for next shift.

--- Report potential sales contacts to the appropriate department.
