The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for preparing, analyzing, and improving reports, models, and dashboards utilized in presentations, dashboards, and projects and business case analysis extracted from SAP Hana and CREST. In this role, you will contribute and foster an environment of continuous improvement on management reporting, report standardization and rationalization. The Finance Analyst will work with the team members and Manager and is accountable for supporting team deliverables/mandates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strong modeling skills in preparing multi-variant actual vs. budget analyses and monthly financial forecasts using historical trends, forward looking information, and market data
Support business intelligence through the development of internal data sources and KPI dashboards that improve the business's understanding of the financial performance
Assist in projects and business cases by preparing cost analysis, management reporting and presentations for executive management
Deliver ad hoc analytics to provide insights as required with focus on meeting deadlines and providing communication to management
Review workflows and identify process improvements and ways to make workflows more efficient (BPO)
Assist in the application and controlling of corporate guidelines
Make thoughtful time management decisions independently. Prioritizes work, resolves issues, meets deadlines and seeks feedback from management. Discerns between urgent and non-urgent issues and acts accordingly to solve them
Contribute to work-life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of excellence

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
4-8 years of experience within a finance function in DHL's ERP systems and reporting
Advanced Excel user including Pivot table, Macros, complex formulas
Proficiency with SAP HANA for Tcodes related to FICO, MM, AR, AP - Preferred
Proficiency with CREST reporting to present financial data and forecasts - Preferred
Experience with SAP HANA Implementation and CREST Reporting - Preferred

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
Strong financial background and solid accounting understanding - general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis and project analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High energy with solid analytical mindset.
Professional, proactive demeanor.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a deadline-oriented environment.
