Class B/C Medium Duty Diesel and Equipment Mechanic - First Shift -Ft. Thanks to growing business, Vector Fleet Management is currently looking for a Day Shift Medium Diesel/Equipment Technician for our dedicated customer in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Are you a Medium/Heavy Technician looking to diversify with some light/medium work supporting emergency services? This is the job for you!

• Must have the ability to diagnose and repair diesel powered medium duty trucks and/or equipment.
• Experience with specialty equipment such as mobile service units, trailers, generators, etc. desirable.
• The candidate needs to be a leader and self-motivated.
• We are looking for a quality minded person that can deliver quality service to our customer.
• Ability to work independently is desired. Requirements A minimum experience of 5 years or a combination of trade school and experience is required, as well as the following:
  • B class CDL
  • ASE/OEM certifications a plus, or willingness to obtain on hire
  • Experience in medium or heavy diesel preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, AC, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems.
  • Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test, background check. What We Offer:
