responsible for the day-to-day duties supporting Quality oversight
of Logistics and tasks pertaining to documentation, warehouse
management, inventory control, procurement, material release, and
final HCT/P shipment disposition at BioStem Technologies. Must work
as a team with the goal of achieving excellence.
The Materials Handler reports to the Operations Manager with a
dotted line to the Director/Site Quality Head and Lab
Coordinate weekly/bi-weekly cycle count of production materials,
reporting discrepancies, and adjusting the computer inventory
system to reflect physical quantities.
Responsible for the transfer of received materials to appropriate
storage areas after receipt.
Responsible for the receipt of materials and maintaining required
Resolve issues with received materials.
Assist with the reporting and maintenance of production data to
track production volume and exception metrics.
Organize and track deliveries with FedEx, UPS, and other couriers
as required. Included in this is the final disposition shipment of
all released HCT/P to the end-user.
Optimize inventory utilization by following established minimum
thresholds for production materials in the computer inventory
system to increase efficiency and reduce the amount of storage
Assist with the review and follow-up of blanket/standing
Plan and place purchase orders for production materials and other
materials required to support Operations.
Place purchase orders with approved suppliers for approved supplies
to meet the production plan and optimize inventory.
Obtain required purchase order approvals and follow-up with open
Request documentation to meet cGMP requirements including vendor
approvals, qualifications, etc.
Responsible for issuing purchase orders and the reconciliation of
invoices (e. g. microbiology and serology testing) for outsourced

Report supplier performance and quality metrics to management.
Track and qualify or disqualify suppliers according to the

Education and Experience Required:
Associates Degree plus 1 year of experience or High School Diploma
with 3 years experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word,
Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience with ERP systems is strongly desired.
Attention to detail with neat and legible handwriting.
Experience in Safety OSHA regulations is desired.
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Physically able to lift to 35 pounds.
