Position Title: Employee Relations Specialist

To: Employee Relations Manager
The Employee Relations Specialist under the supervision of the
Employee Relations Manager and Director is responsible for the
intake and coordination of employee relations cases for the
organization. The primary function of this role is to be an
additional point of contact for the employee concerning
inquiries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate and assist with the interpretation of policies
pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits.
Manage the exit interview process, summarize findings, and provide
trends to the ER leadership team.
Oversee the stay interview process under the direction of the ER
leadership team.
Assist as a liaison between employees and management when directed
by the ER leadership. This does not include Title 7, HIPAA, or
Privacy Breach related issues.
Assist in the intake of employee complaints under the direction of
the ER Leadership team.
Monitor CMS portal for anonymous or non-anonymous claims and ensure
the respective ERM is notified.
Initiate interactive LOA and ADA accommodation process.
Facilitate communications and interpersonal skills training.
Facilitate/mediate discussion between employees and supervisors
addressing conflict/grievances.
Provide regulatory guidance, information, and referral to employees
and managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:Required Education and Experience
College Degree or some college preferred
Human Resources or 2-3 years of relevant work experience
preferred.
Possess strong computer skills and be adept in Google Suites and MS
Office.
Possess excellent organizational/project management skills with
close attention to detail.
Possess strong written communication skills including proper
grammar, spelling, and strong overall writing ability.
Possess excellent verbal communication skills.
Display exemplary work ethic and professionalism, and demonstrate
adequate maturity, patience, and a caring attitude.
Must be team-oriented with a desire to work and collaborate with
other individuals
Must be results-driven.
Demonstrate compliance with all department and company policies and
procedures.
Demonstrate ability to communicate and interface effectively at all
levels of the organization, as well as with external contacts.
Possess excellent presentation/public speaking skills.
Demonstrate strong innovation and problem-solving skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a
full-time position and hours of work and days vary Monday through
Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and
weekend work may be required, as needed.
TravelIntermittent travel may be required. Travel will be
determined by the needs of the company.
