Job Description:
Essential job functions include:Induction/Dismantle of
Components- Set up component into work area- Complete check in
process reviewing documentation- Identifying the status of the
component and determine if any outstanding modification or
airworthiness directive need to be incorporated-
De-stack/disassemble engine, modules, components and/or
accessories- Record and take measurements while dismantling,
document with pictures as required- Prepare parts to get cleaned
and repaired, clean parts as requiredInspection- Inspects the parts
determining if they are able to be repaired or replace- Route
repairable parts to appropriate area- Place order for parts
requiredFollow Manuals and Technical Data- Uses manuals and
technical specifications to determine proper operating conditions-
Reads technical specifications to identify product discrepancies
and deficiencies- Verifying the conformance of parts to manuals and
technical dataPosition RequirementsPre-requisites- Mechanical
and/or aviation experience/aptitude preferredMechanic Trainee-
Basic knowledge of engines- Read manuals and technical dataMechanic
I- Routine induction/ dismantle of components- Thorough Inspection
of basic parts- Kit and assemble engines/components- Read and
understand manuals and technical data, knowledge to find and follow
instructionsMechanic II- Thorough inspection of complex parts,
provides guidance to issues as they arise- Read and understand
manuals and technical data, knowledge to interpret information to
address issues as they arise- Look for opportunities to improve
processes, initiate continuous improvementsMechanic III- Proficient
in induction and dismantle of engines/components, assist other
mechanics as needed- Balances modules or components- Advanced
understanding or manuals and technical data- Guides and trains
other mechanics- Thorough knowledge, can easily find interpret
instructions and act as a resource for other mechanics- Signs off
other mechanics in skills once proficientMechanic IV- Assists other
mechanics with troubleshooting, during assemble, inspect and
dismantle process- Weld and braze when required to assemble
engine/component- Inspection of unique parts- In depth knowledge of
processes- May assist cell leader, as required- May have contact
