Job Description:

The LATAM Chief Data Officer team is a new function in Citi as part of its Data Transformation Strategy, responsible for drives data governance for the region's data and the adoption of consistent standards and capabilities. -This role will report directly to the Latam Data Quality Manager. - Latam Data Quality Lead will be responsible for driving implementation of the data quality strategy and adopting consistent metrics and reporting across businesses, functions, and geographies in Latin America in coordination with the Enterprise CDO (ECDO) Data Quality Program. The Data Quality Lead role is responsible for demonstrating adherence to certification requirements, including understanding consumption requirements, confirming completeness, accuracy, timeliness and granularity of inbound and outbound data and relevant details of their sources.Key Responsibilities: - - - - - - - Defining Data Quality/Data Steward Procedures based on the ECDO (Enterprise Chief Data Office) policy and standards. - - - - - - - Defining and Implementing DQ controls & KPIs (e.g. Quality rules, reconciliations) - - - - - - - Reporting metrics/KPI associated with risk reduction, improvements in data quality and policy adherence. - - - - - - - Managing and Fixing Data Concern (Data defects, Data issues). - - - - - - - Leading and performing the data certification process. - - - - - - - Oversee provision of quality data from upstream data sources into the AS and from the AS to downstream consumers. - - - - - - - Implement and adopt data quality strategy for the specific business unit or data owners, in line with the Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO) strategy, to advance practices related to identification of business needs, reactive data quality (i.e., identify/log/resolve issues promptly following their impact); proactive data quality (i.e., identify/log/resolve issues promptly before they have any impact); and preventative data quality (i.e., prevent data quality issues) - - - - - - - Certify data with Data Quality checks to ensure safe, accurate, and controlled sourcing, transport, access, and storage of data within their Authoritative Sources. - - - - - - - Develop DQ Dashboards and implement reporting requirements. - - - - - - - Review implementation, maintenance, and functionality of Data Quality controls (i.e., preventive and detective) in the Authoritative Sources. - - - - - - - Lead implementation of demonstrable controls to identify, document and resolve weaknesses in the Systems of Record and Authoritative Sources. - - - - - - - Review data quality requirements and verify controls are in accordance with the CDGP Methodology. - - - - - - - Present status updates, issues / challenges / risks and solutions to senior management, stakeholders and partners in a succinct manner to drive decision-making and actions. - - - - - - - Lead meetings to solve issues / challenges / risks by factoring input from partners and diverse points of view.Qualifications: - - - - - - - Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
