POSITION SUMMARYTicketing Systems Specialist manages and executes complex ticketing configuration solutions and inventory processes of all ticketed events on venue ticketing systems, while providing quality customer service to internal and external customers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSManage the single, subscription, package, and add-on sales in the ticketing systems for PACA and affiliated venues.Manage inventory control processes between Ticketmaster, the Broward Center and partners.Negotiate commissions, profit feasibility, and manage promotional sales offer set-up, price changes and sales reporting with discount ticket marketing partners.Follow trends and approve Platinum pricing suggestions from Ticketmaster Platinum team for self-presentations.Collaborate with Programming, Marketing, and Event Services to build Subscription Series events.Support on-line Membership sales and service in Account Manager and identify ways to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with Box Office Manager and internal departments to review, document, and manage the inventory control processes including quality assurance and timely release of holds.Works independently with the ticketing systems software provider when necessary to troubleshoot and correct issues, bugs and configuration problems, while keeping the Director of Ticketing Services & Sales informed of any opened cases and progress on resolution.Collaborate with Box Office Manager and Premium Sales Manager, to provide feedback for the creation and upkeep of event build standard operating procedures and training documentation.Remain current with ticketing trends and proactively seek out and provide suggestions on improving processes and event/ticketing system configurations.Provide on-call ticketing support to Box Office as needed.Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.CORE COMPETENCIESCustomer Focus- Understand the needs of the customer (internal & external) and act accordingly to create an exceptional experience.Teamwork- Work as a collaborative member of a group contributing to the overall mission, strategies and goals.Accountability- Take ownership for deliverables and actions and contribute value to the organization. Accept responsibility for actions and outcomes.KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIESAble to maintain a physical presence at designated work locations with regular attendance and punctuality, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in English.Proficient at utilizing multiple software applications and Microsoft Office products simultaneously.Understanding of event ticketing systems, Ticketmaster and Archtics preferred.Knowledge of Ticketmaster products including TM+ Resell, Pricemaster, Platinum, Host, Archtics.Able to work seated at a computer for long periods of time.Excellent customer service skills.Highly detail oriented with problem-solving skills.Able to work effectively and positively with others.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneDESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience.3 years working in the live event industry, ticketing, management or related experience
