for biennial international sporting events and other major events.
We have an established and growing team around the globe already
dedicated to building and running the delivery and overall
experience of these events. This is an unprecedented opportunity
that will strategically and methodically transform some of the
largest, most operationally complex events in the world and inspire

preserves stability and consistent delivery while also facilitating
scalable innovation for future events.
A critical part of event testing, assurance and service integration
is the Homologation Testing and International Federation (IF) sign
off on specific games and sports results. Deloitte has an
opportunity to re-imagine the design and execution of Results -
pushing Results testing to be iterative with more frequent
governing body interaction earlier in the event lifecycle
This will not happen overnight and will have to balance new and old
principles to ensure event success and delivery excellence.
Work you'll do/Responsibilities:
The Head of Results Operations is accountable for all Results
activities and provides governance to promote consistency and
quality across the games. This role also provides the design,
planning, execution, and follow up of Results testing including
technology rehearsals, event simulation, homologation testing, and
supporting the event organizing committee with test events.
The Head of Results Operations also has the opportunity to support
a new working relationship with event service providers. This
relationship will be critical to overall success during event
execution. The role will also build a Results team from the ground
up, including Cluster Sports Results Managers (CSRMs), Sports
Results Managers (SRMs) and Cross-Sports testers (CSTs). The
Results team members are expected to remain consistent across
multiple events, thus keeping the Results team engaged and
motivated will be a critical success factor.
This role reports directly to the Applications Integration Director
and manages the daily operations of the Results team. The role will
be Deloitte's lead representative for client led ORIS requirements
meetings and key interface with the governing bodies for Results
test validation. This role works closely with internal stakeholders
- Programme Office, Central Operations, Venue Operations, Results
Application Leads, and externally with governing bodies and service
providers to ensure readiness for non-Critical Operational Periods
in terms of people, tools, policies, and procedures. During the
Critical Operational Period, the Head of Results will be a key
member of the technology operations center and venue operations
team. This role will work across countries, Deloitte Member Firms,
and in collaboration with our Third-Party Partners.
