What we're looking for:

As the Sr. Executive Communications Manager, you will partner with the Customer Experience and Worldwide Sales & Services organizations. You will work with the Citrix Executive Leadership Team and the Citrix Corporate Communications Team to create a communications strategy that engages Citrix employees, industry partners, customers and supports major corporate cross-functional initiatives. You'll understand complex issues, break them down and work with Citrix executives to communicate as needed in written (emails, blog posts, FAQ) and spoken (strategy presentations, videos) forms that align to the goals of the company and of the worldwide sales & services organization. You'll report to the Senior Director of Executive and Employee Communications within the Corporate Communications team.

You are a curiosity-driven, organized team player who will help write compelling messages, create thoughtful presentations and find innovative ways to engage employees and contribute to the team's culture. To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to work quickly and with a sense of urgency to deliver communications as needed for your executives. You excel in highly collaborative roles, working with teammates, leadership and internal partners to keep audiences large and small engaged and informed.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, write and edit communications for senior executives including emails, blog posts, social media posts and internal and external presentations.

* Develop creative strategies for communicating to key audiences while taking advantage of an executive's unique voice and the needs of different audiences.

* Plan the frequency and channels of communication and coordinate stakeholders across different areas of the business and the company.

* Interact with and influence executives and provide advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style.

Qualifications

* Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field or equivalent practical experience

* At least 5 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications or executive communications.

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience with sales or customer-focused communications at a global technology company

* Experience as a speechwriter or spokesperson for a technology company or an executive who is responsible for go to market execution.

* Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects at once in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

* Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion. Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.

* Demonstrated executive maturity and an ability to work effectively with senior executives

* Excellent creative and visual skills including slide design with experience using presentation software.

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
