Plantation, FL Facility Description: Clinical Education Department Description: The--HCA Center for Clinical Advancement (CCA)--is part of our strategic nursing initiative to create an organizational structure (shared services) focused specifically on clinical education. The CCA will develop and deploy consistent world-class curriculum, content, and programs across HCA's 178 acute care facilities nationwide. Position Summary: The Simulation Specialist is an essential role in facilitating medical simulation. This position is responsible for integrating, maintaining and operating the computer and audio-video (AV) technology including manikin and surrounding simulation lab equipment. Qualifications
    • Associate's Degree or Certified Emergency Medical Technician required
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 1+ year of experience in a simulation lab with simulation software and mannequins required
    • Familiarity with operation of personal computers is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology and audio visual equipment is desirable
