Location:--Orlando, FL
Duration: Direct Hire
Compensation:-- $105K - $110K base w/ 8% bonus (Relocation assistance provided)

We currently have an opportunity for a Team Lead - Business Analytics role in Orlando, Florida.

--Skillset:

• Candidates should have at least 5 years' experience in applied analytics
• Strong experience with business intelligence and analytics (including extraction, modeling, and presentation) working with extremely large amounts of data (over 1 million plus)
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to create insights and tell data stories through visualization
• Proficiency in using Alteryx data analytics software
• In addition to doing day-to-day work, candidates should have experience leading, coaching, and developing teams, and the ability to work well with technical and non-technical people
• Candidates should be able to possess a curious nature and think differently about data. He/she will also work closely with the Business Analyst to not only teach them to be better problem solvers, but also be willing to be persistent in pushing them to be better at looking at data differently
• It would be helpful if this person has some kind of background in IT with strong SQL skills a plus
• Working in a large retail, hospitality, or restaurant company a plus ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acts as an internal consultant, partnering with business clients and analyst team to identify questions, establish hypothesis, determine metrics for assessment, and interprets the results of analyses to drive insight across data domains
  • Must be able to communicate and explain methodology and thought process to guide analysts, while still being able to communicate in a digestible visual fashion to business partners
  • Provides thought leadership towards creating a data-based and analytical decision making culture for the enterprise
  • Guide development of strategic dashboards across multi-disciplinary teams by demonstrating the art of the possible
  • Partner with Marketing teams to ensure test and learn framework is embedded as part of multi-channel execution to inform continuous improvement, learning and business decisions
  • Partner with Data teams to uncover additional data needs and aid in analytic requirements that help to guide storage and transformation needs
  • Continue to grow the analytics culture at Darden through a commitment to learning and teaching
  • Drive adoption, application management, training, and usage of Darden's Analytic environment (currently Alteryx Server, MS PowerBI, etc)
  • Nurture our collaborative and autonomous development culture while improving team/process performance
  • Coordinates and leads daily team activities
  • Coaches, reviews and delegates work to direct reports ensuring policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
    • 5+ years of experience in applied analytics
    • Advanced analytical skills and hands on experience with root cause analysis, correlation, test vs control, demographic segmentation, benchmarking, etc.
    • Track record of applying creativity to complex quantitative problems
    • Strong experience with business intelligence and analytics including extraction, modeling, and presentation
    • Prior use and proficiency in using big data analytics software (ex. Alteryx, Rapid Miner, Knime, JMP)
    • Strong ability to create insights and tell data stories through visualization (ex. Dossier, PowerBI, Tableau)
    • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products and Business Intelligence tools
    • Strong business acumen
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal REQUIRED EDUCATION:
      • BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or other related field OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
        • Be a player coach and help the team implementing new technical solutions and analyses
        • Encourage creative problem solving and risk-taking
        • Resourceful, hard-working, and solutions oriented mindset
        • A curiosity about all things data and eager to learn and improve your skills PREFFERED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
          • Strong SQL and Statistical background (experience R, Python a plus)
          • Experience working in Cloud technologies (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks a plus)
          • Experience using Adobe Analytics and Target a plus
