What You Will Be Doing JOB OVERVIEW:
The Vice President for Engineering is responsible for the
development, maintenance and evolution of technical solutions and
products that make Hotwire Communications the fastest ISP in the
world (as ranked by Netflix) and the best Gaming ISP as ranked by
PCMagazine. The successful candidate will expand upon the existing
solid processes, architectures and technologies in order to ensure
that Hotwire remains on top and continue to expand and coach the
existing very high performance engineering team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Ability to interact with customers, vendors and employees in a

Networking, GPON and DOCSIS Access, Wireless P2P, residential WiFi,
enterprise WIiFi and large venue WiFi, Bluetooth and BLE protocols,
Satellite TV, MPEG Encoding/Compression, CyberSecurity, Datacenter
design, DNS/DHCP for large scale networks, software development for
STB and devices apps, AndroidTV Operator Tier ecosystem, STB
hardware and ecosystem, IP Voice ecosystem (SIP, SBC, PBX), develop
