Job Description Job Description Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Label Technician (Line Operator) to support production and labeling operations in a temperature-controlled environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products are accurately labeled, orders are followed correctly, and production lines operate efficiently while meeting quality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities · Operate and monitor labeling equipment on production line · Apply labels accurately according to order specifications and documentation · Review work orders, production information, and labeling requirements · Verify label accuracy (product name, lot codes, dates, destination, etc.) · Perform quality checks and report errors or inconsistencies · Maintain cleanliness and organization of production area · Follow safety, food handling and operational procedures · Ensure all pallet stackers, pallet jacks, and forklifts are properly powered down and plugged in nightly. · Shut down Bizerba inkjet machines immediately after use and maintain proper operating condition. · Perform routine inkjet maintenance, including solvent changes as needed and annual replacement of Videojet service modules. · Conduct monthly preventive maintenance on Bizerba machines, including print roller inspections and lubrication as required. · Drain air compressor tanks biweekly to remove accumulated moisture. · Oil taper knives and felt pads monthly using 3-in-1 oil. · Replace taper knives as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation. Requirements: · Ability to read, review and follow labeling and order documentation · Flexible schedule, including weekends and extended hours as needed (required) · Comfortable working in cold temperature environment · Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks · Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment · Video/Link ink jet machine experience (preferred)
