Job Description Job Description Job Summary This role offers the
opportunity to support a nationally recognized litigation team
known for its deep experience in construction law and government
contract disputes. The practice is consistently acknowledged for
excellence in complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and
administrative proceedings, including work involving public and
private development projects, major contractors, design
professionals, and entities engaged in large-scale infrastructure
and commercial initiatives. This position is ideal for a highly
skilled litigation legal assistant who thrives in a fast-paced,
collaborative, and professional environment focused on precision
and high-stakes casework. Key Responsibilities Manage complex
litigation calendars, including hearings, depositions, mediations,
and trial schedules. Draft, format, proofread, and finalize
pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and discovery documents in
accordance with Florida state and federal court rules. Perform
electronic filing in state and federal systems and ensure proper
service and docketing of all filings. Assist with discovery
management: document organization, production preparation, bates
labeling, and exhibit coordination. Support hearing and trial
preparation, including witness logistics, exhibit binders,
demonstratives, and on-site assistance during proceedings. Maintain
organized physical and electronic case files, ensuring
confidentiality and adherence to records retention guidelines.
Communicate professionally with clients, experts, consultants,
opposing counsel, and court personnel. Assist with attorney time
entry, expenses, and matter-related billing activities. Coordinate
internally to ensure deadlines, court requirements, and litigation
milestones are consistently met. Qualifications 5 years of
experience as a litigation legal assistant supporting civil or
commercial litigation is required. Strong mastery of federal and
state court procedures, including e-filing and preparation of
litigation documents. Excellent command of formatting, grammar, and
document organization, including tables of contents and
authorities. High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF
tools, and document management systems. Experience supporting
arbitration or administrative proceedings is a plus. Strong
communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle
multiple deadlines. Proven ability to work independently while
coordinating closely with attorneys in a fully on-site environment.
