We want employees to do what they do best, every day.Job DescriptionThis is a role for passionate engineers that has a huge appetite to learn, research and develop System Software components. You will have opportunity to develop components for Citrix Workspace Application that is built for various platforms like Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android, HTML5-WebAssembly, etc. Innovations is at the center of the core principles and we take pride in delivering mission critical software with huge business values to our customers. You will be working with a pool of talented engineers to co-create features. You shall also collaborate development with global teams.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Sr. Software Engineer, you will
  • Develop new outstanding cross-platform features
  • Work on improving performance and stability for successful solutions with millions of daily usages.
  • The person will embrace and institute coding standards (e.g. code reviews, logging and instrumentation, static and dynamic code analysis, code coverage, unit, integration tests) within the team.
  • The individual will collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers, Product Design, DevOps and Product Security teams to understand requirements for software development in a Scaled Agile environment.
  • The engineer will compose and maintain detailed design specifications and component documents.
  • The engineer shall build test harness at unit, component and system level alongside to developing features.Required Experience/Skills
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Object-Oriented Programming Language(s) such as C++.
    • Proficient skills and experience in C language is a must. Internship or graduate level work will also be considered.
    • Must have strong understanding of Computer Science -fundamentalsthat -are more aligned to Systems Programming such as
      • Algorithms
      • Data Structures
      • Operating Systems
      • Networking concepts
      • Client-Server Architecture
      • Strong debugging skillsNice-to-Haves
        • Experience with developing for Windows and Linux platforms is highly regarded.
        • Experience with developing software on Macintosh platform is appreciated.Education
          • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent required.
