usWhat you will be doing:
Utilize understanding of Magento 2
best practices, code structure and extension architecture to clean,
quality, well documented, and well commented code that meets our
businesses' needsOptimize, troubleshoot, customize, and extend
application code and Magento 2 core featuresProduce clean, quality,
well documented, and well commented technical specificationsProvide
accurate and consistent estimates for Magento 2 development tasks;
and consistently deliver on those estimatesCollaborate with fellow
Application Development team members and Project ManagersProvide
insights, guidance, and mentorship to more junior team membersCheck
in daily with leader to seek clarification and approvals as
neededWork closely with Magento Development Team Lead for
day-to-day operationsPerform other duties as assigned What you
bring to the table:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent
work experience required
- 2-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer; demonstrating
success developing a variety of software systems while taking on
increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation, and
deployment tasks using object-oriented programming principles
required
- 2-5 years hands on development (writing PHP) experience as a
back-end developer
- 2 years maintaining and customizing Magento 2.x or higher
required
- 1-3 years' experience JavaScript, HTML and CSS code and
meaningful experience required (doing so in the Magento 2 strongly
desired)
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Varnish / VCL
configurations and production troubleshooting required
- 1-3 years Redis experience required
- 1-3 years MySQL (especially Percona) experience required
- Magento 2 certifications strongly desired
- CDN Experience (Cloudflare) strongly desired
- OWASP + Security Bast Practice familiarity strongly
desired
- AWS experience a plus (RDS, EFS, ElasticSearch, etc.)
- API/Microservice Architecture experience a plus
- Experience working with/developing/integrating with key Direct
to Consumer systems (ex: eCommerce Systems, Call Center/Order
Capture, Fulfillment Systems, PIM) a plus Benefits and perks:
