Job Description:

Overview:
The HR Systems Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining HR system interfaces. They will function as the technical subject matter expert for HR applications such as UKG, Power BI, Cognos 11 and others. The Developer will work closely with other subject matter experts to ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Developer also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Works under the general supervision of the HRIS Director, who will work with the Developer to assign responsibilities and sets goals and objectives. They may work with IT and other teams on projects and serve as a technical representative for the HR Department.The incumbent is expected to develop, administer and maintain the work being performed without the need for assistance other than higher level, external technical support when necessary.

Responsibilities:
Maintain or expected to increase current knowledge of HR operations and activities. Applies HR functional knowledge in optimizing HR information systems support.Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR information system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain system tables. Document process and results.Provide support for HR information system including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.Apply business process understanding and critical thinking skills to find creative ways to integrate and automate processes that drive operational efficiencyApplies knowledge of HR information systems and data in extracting and analyzing current, historical, and forecasted data to support strategic workforce planning or other HR initiatives.Write, maintain and support a variety of queries, reports or dashboards utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train staff members and managers/supervisors/administrator on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.Partner with HR leadership in defining key business metrics that are supported by HR and developing them. Create and distribute HR reports and dashboards that are in line with established metrics.Discover insights via reports and how to best communicate these to other teams and senior leaders.Providing ad-hoc reports as requested - includes audits and compliance requests.Resolve (diagnose, track, and manage) timely resolution of integration issues related to data, data transformation, data processing, and/or security with appropriate partner engagement. -Maintenance of existing databases, and enhancements as needed.In partnership with the HRIS Director, serve as an additional HR liaison to IT.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in UKG (formerly Ultipro) is highly preferred.Experience consuming Web Services REST and SOAP.Object oriented programming (JAVA, C-Sharp, etc.).Database administration experience.Stored procedure and strong SQL knowledge.Experience with Microsoft Azure.Demonstrated experience with Cognos 11 / Cognos Analytics building, editing and running complex reports:Includes reporting on platform fields, using joins/unions, dashboards, etc.Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power BI is required.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel HR data management is required.Complex report writing skills required.Strong project management skills, including prioritizing, balancing, and managing multiple efforts with strong results necessary.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A customer-focused individual who must effectively work in a fast-paced & fluid business environment with competing priorities.Proven critical thinking and analytic skills.Must be self-motivated, highly organized with the ability to prioritize independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency.Ability to produce accurate work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.Ability to exercise confidentiality, tact, and independent judgment in the performance of duties.A Bachelor's degree is preferredMinimum five(5) years of hands-on HRIS experience required.Prior experience working with the various modules and reporting in UKG highly preferred (Core, Onboarding, Performance, Payroll, Time Management, Employee Voice, Benefits Prime, Compensation, etc.).Demonstrated experienced with complex report writing and building, editing and running complex reports in Cognos BI and Microsoft BI.Experience creating dashboards in Tableau using SQL and other programs or applications.System admin experience in ServiceNow, iCIMS is a plus.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle, touch or feel objects, tools, or controls. - The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. - The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. - The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms. - The employee is rarely required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. - The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. -EEOCBayview is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. - All aspects of consideration for employment and employment with the Company are governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
