We collaborate with Microsoft product teams, partners and open source communities to empower our customers to do more with the cloud. This work involves the development of broadly applicable, high-impact solution patterns and open source software assets that contribute to the Microsoft platform. Join us and help create life-changing innovations that impact billions around the world!**Responsibilities****Responsibilities**+ Working hands-on with your team and our customers through design and implementation, demonstrating good engineering practices and coding along the way+ Sharing your work and learnings with your team, Microsoft product teams, and the OSS community+ Continuously improving our ability to deliver quality solutions by helping to evolve our engineering process+ Continuously building your technical knowledge+ Exhibiting our core values of accountability, integrity, and respect every day**Qualifications****Qualifications**We are seeking people who have experiences which reflect the qualifications below:**Required Qualifications:**+ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or comparable practical professional experience+ 2+ years of professional experience in software development**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Hands-on experience building production quality software (ideally cloud services) in an agile environment+ Enthusiasm for learning new technologies+ We do not require deep expertise in all software stacks that our customers use. However, we do look for people who are familiar with a mix of open-source and enterprise software+ Inclusive, collaborative, growth-mindset approach+ Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up on new languages and technologies+ Enjoy travel and are comfortable with travel up to 25% (post-pandemic)+ Ability to meet Microsoft and customer security screening requirements are required for this role.
