position is responsible for managing the HR functions in the US as
well as our private island - Ocean Cay, including designing the
strategy and implementing policies, procedures as well as systems
to support the employee lifecycle, in order to help the business
achieve its strategic objectives. The jobholder will serve as a key
liaison with Corporate HR and reports directly to the Company's
President
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESOversees all strategic and operational
functions of the HR team: employee engagement, learning &
development, performance management, talent acquisition, HR system,
onboarding, and benefits administrationAlongside senior leadership
team, playing key role in driving employee engagement and
subsequent service levels and productivity in guest facing roles
(contact center / private island staff)Devises and implements a
multi-year HR business strategy working closely with the President,
management team and the HQ HR Team in GenevaDesigns and manages, in
collaboration with Corporate HR, a process of organization
development that addresses issues such as performance management,
succession planning, workforce development, key employee retention,
organization design, and change managementPrepares the annual
headcount and salary cost budgets, conducts reviews on a monthly
basis, analyzes for key issues and partners with finance leaders to
ensure accuracy on all personnel related costsResearches, develops,
and implements competitive compensation, benefits, and employee
incentive programs;Provides guidance and leadership to the human
resource team;assists with resolution of employee relations,
compensation, and benefits questions, concerns and issuesEnsures
compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety and other
laws, regulations, and requirements;Fosters cross-functional
relationships and ensures managers and employees are properly
connected through coaching, communication, and collaboration with
leaders
Minimum 10 years' experience as HR leader in mid-size company (>
200 employees) with International/ multicultural environment
experienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration, Psychology or similarSHRM designation, preferred
Comprehensive, generalist HR experience managing a multi-functional
HR team (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development etc.)Senior
level HR experience within the hospitality / travel industry or
companies with large consumer facing contact center function
preferredGood knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent
Knowledge of compliance procedures and employment law and best
practice in the USOutstanding communication and coaching
skillsDriven, resilient, trusted and forward-thinkingAble to
operate in a fast moving and dynamic environment
