Job Description:

The Corporate Management Trainer is responsible for the development of Convey's Leaders, from Supervisors to the Executive Team. This position will not only deliver learning solutions but is responsible in working with all functions within Convey (includes Operations, IT, Software Development, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, Human Resources, and others) to understand learning opportunities and present solutions. In this position, the successful candidate must be comfortable in communicating with all levels within the organization, conducting gap analysis, creating learning proposals, and presenting solutions to all levels up to the senior executive team. The candidate must also have a deep understanding of industry solutions and trends in the development Leaders and Industry Experts and be well experienced in working with external partners that deliver learning solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Training Delivery -- Professionally conduct training workshops (in person or virtually) for employees, utilizing established training guidelines, methods, and materials-- Complete identified certification programs that will allow you to deliver learning programs purchased by Convey -- Complete all necessary new hire management tasks such as onboarding tasks, attendance, progress reports, graduation summaries-- Develop learning solutions, including computer based training modules, to help close knowledge gaps within the organization. Solutions will be for various levels within Convey from Supervisors to Executives.
Training Management-- Responsible for the development, oversight, and continuous improvement of learning paths for Team Members. Learning paths -- Responsible for corporate training initiatives related to Compliance, corporate systems (ADP, WorkDay), SOX/Corporate Governance training-- Gap Analysis: work with department leaders to identify knowledge gaps. Gaps could be industry, product, and/or skill knowledge. This role is responsible to determine the gap(s) and determine potential solutions.-- Serve as a project manager and change agent for organizational development initiatives-- Industry research: review learning providers and solutions to understand if they are a potential solution for Convey. Training Material -- Develop or update learning material while adhering to departmental and corporate policies and procedures. This includes updating learning manuals, on-line materials, assessments, attestations, on-line learning paths and more. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-- Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Company-- Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Company-- Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS-- Must have 3 years' experience in training delivery, specifically to organization leaders from Operations Supervisors to Executive-- Must have 3 years' experience in training development, specifically on-line learning materials-- Experience in review, recommendations, and management of learning vendors such as Franklin Covey-- Skilled in multiple lines of business for multiple clients -- Must have designed, developed, and implemented one instructional design project in the last 12 months Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:-- Post-Secondary education degree in Business, Communication or related field. Equivalent working experience can substitute for degree -- Expert knowledge of adult learning theories and principles-- Experience building learning solutions, classroom and computer based, including solutions, exercises, assessments, and measuring the impact of the learning solution-- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.-- Excellent presentation, time management, organization, written and verbal communication skills-- Effective virtual and classroom training delivery skills -- Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment.-- Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
