Job Description:

Bookkeeper:

  • Review, process, and record data related to sales, AR, and AP using QuickBooks Intuit
  • Bank account reconciliations using Excel and QuickBooks Intuit
  • Trust accounting record-keeping and reconciliations using Excel and QuickBooks Intuit
  • Work with corporate client systems to assist the firm's billing department
    • Sales tax payment processing
    • Various insurance policies' maintenance
    • Other bookkeeping and office administrative duties as neededHuman Resources Department Coordinator:
      • Recruiting, new hire processing, background check, on-boarding, performance review and termination
      • Payroll processing using ADP RUN
      • HR personnel file maintenance
      • Paid Time Off / holidays scheduling
      • HR benefits maintenance
      • Time and Attendance recordkeeping and other HR related tasks
      • Contractor/vendor file maintenanceQualifications:
        • 4+ year bookkeeping experience is required
        • 2+ year HR support experience is preferred
        • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
        • Strong attention to detail and precision in following training materials and instructions are required
          • Proficiency in Quick Books (journal entry, credit memo, banking, sales, expenses, chart of accounts) is required
            • Knowledge of general accounting and auditing standards is required
            • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) is required
            • Experience working with a law firm is preferredBenefits:
