Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Weston, Florida. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10 shifts /n• 40 hours of orientation required /n• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month /n• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required /n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in 18-room operating suite with daily census of 55 /n• 2 years of direct RN OR experience required with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurosurgery experience /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) /n• Epic charting system experience preferred /n• Must be nicotine-free with negative 10 Panel Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required /n• Complete time-sensitive modules pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable) /n• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum /n• Participate in teaching facility activities including training students and new staff /n• Experience required with various surgical procedures including robotics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and vascular procedures /n• Work with advanced surgical equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Mako Surgical System /n• All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submission /n/n Facility: /n This is a comprehensive teaching hospital that serves as a major healthcare provider offering advanced surgical services across multiple specialties. The facility features an 18-room operating suite with a daily census of 55 patients and utilizes state-of-the-art surgical technology including robotic systems.
