Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts • On-call required: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month • Float within scope to meet facility needs • 40 hours of orientation required • 2 years of direct RN OR experience required with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neuroscience experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) • Epic charting system experience preferred • Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required • EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts for each • Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable) • Work with adult and geriatric patients in 18-room operating suite • Extensive surgical experience required including thoracic, laparoscopic, orthopedic, neurological, and robotic procedures • Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Mako Surgical System required • Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff in teaching facility environment • All requested time off must be submitted at time of application Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive teaching hospital with a busy 18-room operating suite handling approximately 55 cases daily.
