HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Weston, Florida. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) Location: Weston, FL 33331 Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract) Shift: Flexible – 3x12s (36 hours guaranteed) OR 4x12s (40 hours guaranteed) Weekend Requirement: As needed On-Call: Not Required Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting. - Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and initiate appropriate interventions. - Manage acute and critical conditions including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and pediatric emergencies. - Administer medications and treatments per provider orders. - Utilize EPIC EMR proficiently (Level 3 or 4 required). - Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required. - Complete all time-sensitive onboarding modules promptly upon confirmation. - Adhere to facility policies including strict smoke-free/nicotine-free requirements. Required Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience. - First-time travelers accepted. - Pending license not accepted. - All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted upfront at the time of application. Current Certifications (Required at Time of Submission): - BLS (AHA or client-approved) - ACLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) - NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start date) Preferred Qualifications: - Strong experience managing high-acuity ER patients. - EPIC EMR experience (Level 3 or 4 proficiency required). - Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and unit demands. Distance Requirement: - Local candidates accepted at same rate (facility-specific local radius rule applies). Additional Notes: - Smoke-Free Facility: All travelers must be nicotine-free.
