seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess
strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality
patient care. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of
registered nurses and physicians, assisting in the delivery of
patient care across various settings, including acute care and
internal medicine. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care,
including wound care, administering medications and treatments as
prescribed. Perform triage to assess patients' needs and prioritize
care effectively. Document medical histories, symptoms, and vital
signs accurately in medical records. Participate in case management
by coordinating care plans with healthcare teams. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements: Proficient in medical documentation practices to
maintain accurate patient records. Knowledgeable in acute care
procedures and protocols. Experience with triage processes and
prioritizing patient needs. Familiarity with pain management
techniques and strategies. Understanding of case management
principles for effective patient support. Ability to utilize
Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems
efficiently.
