Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician Needed Near Palm Beach, FL (j-236579) Seeking a Qualified and Experienced Hospitalist Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Internal Medicine physician seeking a challenging locum tenens opportunity? We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team in a growing community near Palm Beach, FL. This three-month position is available starting ASAP. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse adult patient population with a variety of medical conditions. Conduct thorough patient history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop effective treatment plans. Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Manage patient care throughout their hospitalization, including medication management, monitoring vital signs, and addressing any complications. Educate and empower patients and their families regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and expected recovery process. Document medical records accurately and efficiently within the designated electronic medical record system. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hospital medicine and participate in ongoing professional development activities. Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Florida (FL) medical license is required. Board certification in Internal Medicine is mandatory. Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital medicine setting is preferred. Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and a comprehensive knowledge base in internal medicine. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
