Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI
Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and ARRT-MR
certification for evening shifts on a travel contract.
Responsibilities - Work in MRI tech unit serving all ages from
neonate to older adult in both inpatient and outpatient settings -
5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm,
with occasional weekends - Perform a wide range of diagnostic MRI
procedures including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck,
spine/musculoskeletal, diffusion, perfusion, gradient echo, spin
echo images, and multiplanar reconstruction - Experience with
breast and cardiovascular imaging, maximum intensity projection,
and image post-processing preferred - Uses Siemens MRI equipment
and Epic EMR (Epic experience required) - Patient populations
include both adult and pediatric patients - Surface coil and T-1
and T-2 weighted imaging experience required - Must be able to
follow isolation precautions - Assist in supporting quality
healthcare services through a broad spectrum of MRI diagnostics -
Must pass facility EKG and arrhythmia tests; re-testing available
if initial scores are not met - Online orientation with study
guides and tools provided pre-start - This is a smoke-free facility
- Locals within a 60 mile radius are accepted at a different pay
rate - Former permanent employees must have a 2-year separation
before being eligible for travel positions - Scrub requirements and
further orientation details will be provided upon onboarding
Requirements - Current ARRT-MR certification - Current BLS
certification via AHA - Experience operating Siemens MRI equipment
- Minimum relevant experience in performing a variety of MRI
procedures as listed - Epic EMR experience required - Must hold a
Florida or compact license in hand prior to consideration - Proof
of vaccination status is required (no declinations allowed) -
Pass/fail EKG and basic arrhythmia testing required for
