Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
a Labor & Delivery position requiring recent travel experience,
advanced certifications, and proficiency in Epic. Responsibilities
- Work in a Labor & Delivery hospital unit with a focus on
high-risk deliveries and antepartum care - Night shift schedule
with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 to 7:30), including every
other weekend - Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating,
recovering, triage, and care for patients requiring isolation
precautions - Handle central lines (CVC-PICC), administer insulin
and heparin drips, monitor magnesium sulfate, and perform SVEs and
intrauterine pressure catheterization - Experience with Epic EMR is
required - Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk
deliveries, antepartum care, and monitoring of complex medication
drips - Candidates must adhere to PPE and isolation protocols - A
radius rule applies: locals within 60 miles are considered - The
facility is smoke-free - Flu and COVID-19 vaccination documentation
is required with no declinations allowed - Must complete modules
and orientation prior to start; modules are not paid - Must not
have been a permanent employee of the facility within the last 2
years - Scrub and dress code requirements will be provided by the
facility Requirements - Active FL or Compact RN license in hand at
the time of consideration - Minimum 5 years of recent Labor &
Delivery experience - Recent travel nursing experience required -
Degree from an accredited school or approved by FBON with at least
2 years of recent acute care experience in a US hospital -
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS (both via AHA), NRP, PALS,
AWHONN, and NIH - Must pass an EKG basic arrhythmia assessment and
lethal rhythms testing prior to start - Must be able to perform
clinical skills including scrub, circulate, and recovery in L&D
