Hospital-Based Pathology Lab Dates of Coverage: ASAP March 2025
Call Schedule: Rotating evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
between 5 Pathologists Call Ratio: 1:5 What Types of Certification
Does Your Laboratory Hold?: CLIA, CAP, AABB, TJC Approx. Number of
Cases Read Per Day: 25-30 What Will Be the Locum Tenen Physician s
Responsibility for the Clinical Lab?: Electrophoresis Pathology
interpretation and Hematology Differential Review How Many
Physicians in the Group? 5 How Many Histotechnologists? 4 How Many
Pathology Assistants? 1 How Many Cytotechnologists? 2 Will the
Locum Tenens Physician be Required to Supervise Other Healthcare
Providers? Yes Will Other Pathologists Be Present During the
