Room Location: Miami, FL Facility: HCA Florida Kendall Hospital
Schedule: Full-Time • Nights (Rotating Weekends) Position Overview
This position plays a critical role in delivering patient-centered,
high-quality perioperative care to trauma patients. The ideal
candidate will bring proven trauma OR experience, strong critical
thinking skills, and the ability to work in high-pressure
situations. Key Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care to
trauma patients in the operating room using the nursing process and
critical thinking skills - Monitor and respond to patients’
conditions throughout surgical procedures - Collaborate with
surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal
patient outcomes - Maintain surgical asepsis and comply with safety
protocols, infection prevention, and hospital policies - Serve as
patient advocate throughout the operative experience Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse (RN), Florida or Compact (per FL
licensure requirements) - Education: Graduate of an accredited
School of Nursing - Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) –
Required within 30 days of hire - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life
Support) – Required within 30 days of hire - Experience: Minimum 2
years of trauma OR experience in an acute care hospital setting -
Other Requirements: - Must live within 30 minutes of the facility
due to on-call obligations – this is mandatory Compensation &
Benefits - Hourly Pay: $39.57 – $53.34 (based on years of
experience; max at 17 years) - Sign-On Bonus (SOB): May be offered
