Job Summary and Qualifications - Performs therapeutic, diagnostic and supportive respiratory care procedures. - Provides services, timely and efficiently, at approriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. - Evaluates physician orders and clinical data related to respiratory care of patients. - Assess patients respiratory status, effectiveness of therapy, and recommends modification as needed. - Performs tasks and duties within their approved scope of service, following established policies and procedures, and in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations/laws. - Provides advanced clinical expertise and education. What qualifications you will need: - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner - Associate Degree HCA Florida Westside Hospital is a 250-bed medical center and healthcare complex.
