LPN Transition to Acute Care program is now accepting applications.
The program will start on March 27th. Newly licensed and
experienced LPNs are welcome to apply. The course is designed to
provide nurses with theoretical knowledge needed to provide
holistic family-centered care to patients and family members and is
targeted to nurses who are new to high-acuity nursing care. The
course will entail classroom education and an eight week
preceptorship with an RN. LPNs will learn to work with an RN on a
Blended Nursing Team, where the LPN and RN work together to care
for a group of patients.Training opportunities available at Baptist
Hospital and Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Estimated pay range for
this position is %2421.49 - %2427.92 / hour depending on
experience. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. FL
LPN License Current American Heart Association BLS certification
for healthcare providers current for at least 6 months of the time
