REGISTERED NURSE, CC, ER, 7p-7a FTE, Req #49200 - Fort Lauderdale, FLBroward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale has been a respected leader in healthcare since its founding in 1938. Additional services include cancer care, kidney and lung transplant, orthopaedics, palliative care, robotics, sickle cell, surgical weight loss, a Level I trauma center and an on-site fitness center. - -Pool-Time -varies hours per pay period. -7:00am-7:00pm Every other -weekend required. -Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing. - Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required. - Current BLS and ACLS cards from American Heart Association required. - -Experience in a Hospital Acute Care setting -within the past 3 years strongly preferred. - At least -one year of previous Hospital ER RN experience preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred. - Under general supervision, renders professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients. In doing so, assesses patients' condition, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatments, observes patients' progress, records pertinent observations and reports reaction to drugs and treatments. Assists physicians with examinations and prepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use. -Thank you for your interest in Broward Health.
