Full time Eligible 72 hours per pay period Varied days 7:00pm-7:30am. Every other weekend. Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing. Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required. One year of prior Cardiac experience required. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. Current ACLS card from American Heart Association required. Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia training and prior Cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology experience preferred. Experience needed in patient teaching, Core measures and quality improvement processes preferred. Experience in Hospital Acute Care setting within the past three years required. The professional registered nurse is accountable to plan, coordinate, provide, intervene and evaluate the care of assigned patients based upon the treatment plan, nursing standards, nurse practice act and individual patient needs. Each professional registered nurse participates with the inter-disciplinary team to establish an individualized plan of care for each patient.
