Job Description:
The Catherization Lab RN assists physicians in the diagnosis and
treatment of cardiac conditions. Catheterization lab nurses are
responsible for preparing the patient for their procedures, and
provide physical and emotional support to the
patient.ResponsibilitiesAs a Cath Lab RN your responsibilities
consist of:
Checking the patient's vitals before, during and after their
procedure.
Administering and recording prescribed medication.
Providing treatment as necessary.
Helping the doctors perform various procedures such as stent
placements.
RequirementsOne year of experience as a Cath Lab Nurse within the
past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Current BLS from American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
