OverviewThe Payment Processing Manager will oversee and optimize
our merchant processing operations. The ideal candidate will
possess a strong background in payment processing, a deep
understanding of industry regulations, and exceptional leadership
and communication skills. This role involves managing a team,
ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing
strategies to enhance overall efficiency and customer
satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of merchant processing
professionals.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the merchant processing
department.
- Monitor transaction processes to ensure accuracy and
efficiency.
- Implement and improve operational policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the company's
compliance.
- Collaborate with compliance officers to develop and implement
necessary procedures.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with merchant
partners and vendors.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to
onboard new merchants.
- Analyze processing data to identify trends and areas for
improvement.
- Implement strategies to enhance processing efficiency and
reduce errors.
- Stay informed about the latest payment processing technologies
and trends.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and
improve existing systems.
- Work closely with customer support teams to address merchant
inquiries and issues promptly.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in merchant
processing services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related
field.
- Proven experience in merchant processing or a similar
role.
- Strong understanding of payment processing regulations and
compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and
implement improvements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry software and payment processing
platforms.
- Expert-level experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook).
