Job Description:
Regional Vice President of FBO Operations
- Supports multiple assigned FBO's as needed with a minimum of
once a month visits to each location.
- Provides ongoing leadership, direction, and support for General
Managers in all lines of business at their location.
- Conduct performance assessments of each location and make
recommendations as needed.
- Examine each FBO organizational chart to ensure the operation
is meeting or exceeding company requirement services and standard
levels.
- Review Human Resource procedures at each base while providing
guidance with any issues or concerns.
- Complete oversight of the interviewing and hiring process to
ensuring company vision is sustained.
- Review and observe daily operations to ensure all regulations,
along with company policy and procedures are being
- Promote positive employee morale and interaction among
co-workers and management.
- Observe General Managers in the procurement and compliance of
safety, training, and development of each employee.
- Evaluate Customer Service and Line Operations to ensure service
levels are being held to the highest standards.
- Review training records to assure that company policies and
procedures are being followed and are current.
- Support General Managers to improve overall business operations
to maximize success and profitability.
- Continuous review of property rent roll with General Managers
to improve performance and opportunities ensuring synergies between
FBO and Property Management.
- Review and analyze fuel inventory control measures for
accuracy.
- Inspect Fuel Quality Control and Fleet Maintenance procedures
and records.
- Insect FBO facility, hangars, apron, and fuel farm for
cleanliness and operational requirements.
- Will lead and participate in new business development efforts
for future growth opportunities.SKILLS

- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
following the FAA and DOT guidelines. -POSITION
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation Management, or
related field preferred 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE related experience
and/or training with at least three (3) years related to general
aviation management experience. Applicant must demonstrate the
following core competencies: entrepreneurship, change leadership,
negotiation, and influence, business acumen, operational decision
making, customer orientation, driving for results, managing and
measuring work, interpersonal skills, and superior ability to
positively relate and communicate to customers. Must be able to
read, write, and understand the English Language. Bi-lingual
ability preferred (Spanish, Portuguese, and French) Working
knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and web-based
applications. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to
pass airport security badge background checks.Sheltair provides
