The Retina Group of Florida is a multi-physician, multi-office and growing ophthalmology practice specializing in diseases of the retina. We are currently seeking a full-time revenue cycle manager to join our team in our Fort Lauderdale. The revenue cycle manager position is responsible for ensuring that patient billing and processing of payment receipts are consistently completed timely and in accordance with policy.Job SummaryThe revenue cycle manager oversees the insurance, billing, and credentialing functions within the practice. Job ResponsibilitiesConducts annual employee performance evaluationsRecruits new insurance coordinatorsAssists with coaching and counseling employees in accordance with company progressive disciplinary policyManages claim reconciliationManages major payer appealsBills copay assistant programsWorks closely with medication replacement programsCoordinates with third party billing companyManages the practices Quality Payment ProgramEnsures proper adherence to RCM department policies and proceduresCoordinates with provider relations representatives, consultants, and reimbursement representative Required Skills and QualificationsStrong supervisory skillsCoding certification preferredKnowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codesKnowledge of NCCI coding edits and coding guidelinesAbility to clearly communicates with patients, physicians and staffExcellent customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to use electronic medical records, practice management systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
