Job Description:
This role is responsible for elevating existing strategies and
devising new ones to drive growth of our wholesale (B2B) channel.
Spearhead marketing programs and sales enablement initiatives aimed
at supporting inside and outside sales teams, lead generation, new
customer acquisition, brand awareness, operational efficiencies,
and expansion. This is a working manager position, responsible for
guiding your team as well as managing key programs
independently.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Concept, develop, and implement new and existing, multi-channel
marketing programs
- Devise contact strategy based on lifecycle group and B2B
wholesaler verticals
- Direct product mix, segmentation, personalization, and contact
strategy
- Evaluate performance of programs via continuous analysis and
post-mortems, provide insights and recommendations, test new
strategies/ideas to effect wholesale growth while adhering to
marketing budget and meeting overall margin requirements
- Create strategic marketing plans and business requirement
documents, ensuring plans are operationally feasible and provide a
seamless customer experience both offline and online
- Collaborate with marketing and wholesale teams, sales force,
cross-functional partners, and vendors to ensure programs meet
budget and deadline expectations
- Assist in vendor management as needed, negotiating
costs/sourcing new vendors
- Maximize team performance by fostering and supporting a
collaborative environment
- Manage direct reports, provide guidance, coaching, and
mentorship
- 50% onsite attendance is an essential function of this
position
- Additional duties as needed Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or
related field
- 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B
environment
- Experience working with a variety of marketing facets including
campaign management through digital (email & website marketing) &
print as well as sales enablement programs/materials to support the
sales force
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage simultaneous
projects/priorities in a deadline-orientated environment, executing
responsibilities accurately and efficiently
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with reports,
culling relevant insights from data to present business results and
recommendations
- Previous experience leading and mentoring others
- Strong understanding of the general sales principles and
concepts, the CPG industry, and the various distribution
channels
- Results orientated and ability to anticipate needs, innovate
and flourish in a fast-paced environment
- Strong motivator with demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Team oriented, consensus building
- Proficient in MS Office
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated
- Experience with a sales CRM and email marketing automation
systems, a plus
- Attention to detail a must
