Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, the Associate Manager, Media & Partnerships role provides the opportunity to engage with key decision makers and manage relationships with category-leading luxury companies including Rolls-Royce, NetJets, Northern Trust and Louis XIII. Responsibilities include coordination and execution of existing partnerships and leadership of advertising sales for Navigator magazine, N&J's award-winning lifestyle publication, which is distributed globally to yacht owners, private jet owners and UHNWI's. The successful candidate will plan and attend partner activations and events in key US markets and participate in international yacht shows in Monaco, Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT / ACTIVATION / RETENTION -

• Actively drive advertising sales initiatives, lead outreach to new prospects for print/online advertising and event sponsorships. Includes telemarketing, cold-calling and in-person meetings
• Communicate advertising deadlines, ad specs and program guidelines to clients and coordinate with marketing to ensure timely delivery of creative materials
• Work with Senior Manager to maintain and execute existing partnership campaigns including contract activation, campaign coordination and fulfillment
• Work with Senior Manager to generate referrals from partners, measure results and determine ROI
• Plan, coordinate and attend partnership events in key markets. Local, regional, and international travel to essential partnership events required
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, charter, brokerage, and outside vendors to ensure successful implementation of advertising and partnership campaigns
• Coordinate with N&J Marketing team during planning and execution of boat show events to ensure that client expectations are met ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: -
  • College Degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications or Management) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in inbound/outbound Sales, Marketing and/or Events activation. Media or event sales experience preferred.
  • Team player with strong communication, time management and organizational skills. Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.DIFFICULTIES & CONSTRAINTS OF THE POSITION The candidate will work closely with a global client base, potentially in different time zones and needs to be available to deal with inquiries and requests. ATTRIBUTES: -
