We are looking for an experienced analytics and technology leader to design and implement advanced demand forecasting, assortment optimization and inventory acquisition solution that will integrate with vehicle appraisal and acquisition processes. You will the product owner of the Vehicle Acquisition optimization solution and will work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders to bring this solution to market. You will play a key role in building organization wide Acquisition data model and third-party data integration. You will work closely with the pricing science and other teams to leverage models that will be included in scaled systems to automate existing processes and to maximize business objectives. The role is part of the pricing strategy team reporting to the Vice President of Acquisition Strategy. Job responsibilities The key responsibilities for this role are

• Document the current vehicle acquisition processes, policies, systems, data interdependencies and user ecosystems.
• Understand the business requirements from a people, process, governance, and technology perspective to effectively design advanced vehicle acquisition optimization solutions that address customer needs while maintaining our control environment.
• Work alongside technology and business teams to Implement advanced acquisition technology solution and manage integration with vehicle appraisal and retailing systems.
• Work with stakeholders across the vehicle appraisal and Acquisition functions to refine the policies, and processes, to automate work and creating efficiencies leveraging advanced Acquisition technology solution
• Play a key role in establishment of the vehicle acquisition data model leveraging third-party data integration.
• Manage performance target and improvement metrics across the end-to-end process.
• Support identification and prioritization of continuous improvements and process roadmaps. Drive simplification, optimization, and standardize all processes in this space.
• Develop strong business partnerships with sales, sales operations, legal, systems and other teams to ensure compliance with Acquisition policies, answer questions and be an enabler to business growth.Job location, compensation and benefitsThe primary location for this job is Fort Lauderdale, Florida.   • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of experience working on leading inventory acquisition, assortment planning, demand forecasting, mix and price optimization strategies and projects with leading online and/or brick and mortar retailers
  • 5+ Experience with Inventory Acquisition & Profitability Optimization- a set of techniques and processes that support defining an acquisition strategy, creating an acquisition model, and implementing to optimize profitability
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting and/or transformation projects with leading Automotive Retailers.
  • Working knowledge of Automotive industry acquisition and retail processes at the dealership and spectrum of technology solutions to automate and enhance those processes
  • Strong functional background, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with agile / scrum and waterfall development methodologies
  • Ability to translate between technical and financial concepts.
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity
  • Works backwards from the customer to solve their problems
  • Excellent communicationPreferred Qualifications
