The Opportunity Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is searching for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day restaurant operations. Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $38400 - $50800 / yearThe advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range.   • Coordinate and supervise activities of all associates including training and performance development.
  • Verify sales reporting, cash handling and payroll accounting reports; prepare various cost and operational reports.
  • Maintain proper implementation of sanitation procedures and standards.
  • Ensure that maintenance of all equipment is completed when necessary.
  • Ensure effective operation of areas at all times. Qualifications
    • Associate degree preferred with emphasis in business or food service management.
    • At least three years' food and beverage management experience required.
    • Knowledge of food preparation and inventory control procedures.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Basic organizational and mathematical ability and be familiar with operation of standard food and beverage equipment.
