The eCommerce Image Production Operations Director is a member of the Image Team who plays a crucial role in ensuring that UA Brands has the best possible visual content to help customers choose products with confidence.The right candidate will provide leadership to image team leads and managers who oversee the day-to-day operations (photo studio, retouching image editing, video editing, asset management, etc.) of the e-commerce product image workflows and premedia deliverables. They will possess natural leadership abilities to create and maintain a positive and creative working environment for a blended team made up of global staff and service agencies.The primary objectives are not only department level operational efficiency and effectiveness through streamlined processes, while driving key business expectations on an daily basis, but also to develop technical skills and talent who adhere to the our quality standards and industry leading brand aesthetic goals.At UA we believe, a uniform that feels great, looks good and fits right can literally transform the wearer's day. We are looking for enthusiastic people who can move our company forward, fulfilling our purpose to make workdays better, while building a career for themselves.The right candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of retouching and recoloring principles, visual standards, and technical skillsets required to teach and guide image specialist to produce premedia assets at scale for all e-commerce mediums.This position is an in-house, hybrid role, also working from our Fort Lauderdale corporate office, who reports to the VP, Creative who also works hybrid from our Fort Lauderdale corporate office.WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead daily operations of digital image production teams ensuring work is completed on time and following visual style guidelines.
• Review baseline image assets and provide feedback for improvement as part of a standard quality assurance process.
• Monitor, report on and improve speed-to-site operations involving Photography, Image Selection, Forecasting, Asset Management and Retouching teams.
• Create and maintain asset delivery project plans and service level agreements.
• Ensure operations run smoothly by distributing workloads across team members and developing simple, efficient process.
• Weekly, monthly, quarterly level reporting and dashboard of key performance indicators to monitor operational health and provide visibility into opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage budget and operational costs to ensure a healthy ROI
• Ensure feedback to creative professionals while communicating to their leadership team.
• Manage business partner exceptions through effective forecasting and communication
• Support team leads and members through 1:1 coaching.
• Monitor and report on team member quality and productivity including mid-year, and annual performance reviews.WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • A proven track record to drive key initiative and communicate action plans
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to research issues where solution is not readily apparent. This would include proven track record in promoting efficiency through innovative technologies, third-party service partners, industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proactive, work ethicthat thrives in a performance-driven culture and team-oriented approach, with demonstrated consistency in actions, methods, principles, expectations, and outcomes
  • Excellent communications skillswith the ability to develop working relationships across the business with creatives, business partners, and technical personnel to drive exceptional results
  • Exceptional eye with keen understanding of product photography lighting principles, creating photorealistic shadows and renderings to create strong composition, define shape and separation, and troubleshoot efficient image rendering scripts and workflows. Strong coaching, planning and change management skills
  • Self-motivated, professional, with an enthusiastic demeanor
  • Advance Level Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects; Capture One, Lightroom, Ned Graphics, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointPreferred Experience
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience in image editing, retouching, color correction work and prepping files for final use in a commercial environment.
    • 1+ years of experience in working with digital photography, animation, or video production.
    • 2-5 years demonstrated leadership, coaching, teaching, project management and critical-thinking abilities utilized daily in a large-scale commercial environment
