Job Description:

The newley renovated Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, located on the intracoastal waterway, is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join their team to handlethe Northeast/Pharmaceutical Market.The ideal candidate will be a polished team player with at least 3 years of Senior Group Sales experience who enjoys building and maintaining customer relationships. We are looking for someone with a proactive, can-do attitude, and superior written and verbal communication skills. We are a collaborative Team looking for a self-motivated person to join us and grow their career with Hilton.
Potential Remote Opportunity: Northeast US, or within driving distance to the hotel for the ideal candidate in order to come in for site visits.
3+ years of hotel sales experience within a full service hotel
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Hilton experience
Delphi/FDC experience
Pharmeceutical / Northeast market experience
What will I be doing?
Increase qualified group booking volume by developing key relationships with new accounts and growing production with assigned existing accounts and market.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Respond to sales inquiries from potential customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
  • Methodically solicit potential clients for future business on an on-going basis.
  • Establish and maintain visibility with accounts.
  • Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and analyze lost business.
  • Plan and execute site inspections as required.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual group sales goals.
  • Conduct outside sales calls and polished presentations to local companies and schools.
  • Attend hotel and industry related functions and tradeshows.
  • Entertain potential and existing clientele to develop and maintain relationships.
