Job Description:
Pet Supermarket has an immediate need for an Email Marketing
Manager who will be responsible for elevating our e-mail program to
drive traffic and sales both in-store and online. This is a
strategic and technical role working with Salesforce Marketing
Cloud. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer-centric email
marketing along with a solid understanding of lifecycle marketing
expertise. This includes customer journey design and configuration,
audience segmentation and data integration.The successful candidate
will have a passion for customer journeys and bring strategic
thinking to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategically develop, execute and manage promotional and
triggered email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive
customer engagement and incremental sales both online and
offline.
- Partner with Data and IT teams to retrieve new data points that
enhance the email program to build promotional emails, journeys and
triggers working.
- Leverage CRM data to drive personalized and contextual
experiences to increase customer retention.
- Implement an email roadmap based on overall life-cycle
marketing with an emphasis on email campaigns to drive customer
retention.
- Own the day-to-day project management of email marketing
campaigns; including campaign scoping, production, QA, deployment
and delivery analysis.
- Collaborates with internal Merchandising, Marketing, and IT
teams to manage the e-mail marketing calendar to drive business
objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including
deliverability, engagement rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates,
and revenue.
- Conduct A/B testing and detailed analysis of content, design,
subject lines, and calls to action to increase open rates,
click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Manage key vendor relationships and technology vendors
associated with the email channel.
- Understand and monitor competitive landscape, providing insight
& recommendations to email best practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing innovation of the digital marketing
department. -Experience, Education, Certifications (List minimum
required to enter the role)
- 3+ years' experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem,
including Email Studio and Journey Builder
- Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Management Information
Systems, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred
- Proven experience in an email management function
- Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau and other data analytics
tools, a plus
- Experience with additional email marketing tools (Movable Ink)
a plus
- Retail, eCommerce or Pet Industry experience a plus

- Understanding of deliverability, CAN-SPAM, CCPA and GDPR
compliant practices
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in Excel
- Jira, Confluence or other task collaboration tools
