Job Description General Summary: Under general supervision, provides remote technical assistance for multiple, national HVAC and Lighting Controls installation projects. Visits job sites on occasion to ensure quality control and provide on-site expertise to Field Teams. - Familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Defines controls project strategy, scope and objectives
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
  • Maintains tracking sheets by Customer to ensure schedules and key milestones are documented and projects progress toward on-time completion
  • Conducts regular update meetings with Customers
  • Optimizes resource utilization and achievement of client expectations
  • Manages the integration of project tasks and tracks and reviews deliverables
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
  • Makes decision on client requirements and change in schedules
  • Field visits and inspections (estimated 10 to 25% travel)
  • Works closely with Branch Managers, Subcontractors and vendors to provide Customers with consistent pricing and deliverables
  • Escalates issues, as necessary, to Area Managers and Leadership to ensure Projects remain on schedule
  • Communicates effectively and understands correct medium for the situation (phone, email, text, in person)
  • Promotes and follows Lennox Safety Handbook at all times Qualifications Education and Experience:
  • Minimum three years Controls and project administration experience required
  • HVAC industry knowledge/experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or years of relevant experience preferred
  • Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office software
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., ability to climb ladders safely
  • Ability to carry out projects from inception to completion with minimal direction; works with a high degree of urgency and self-motivation
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others
  • Ability to produce high-quality work consistently on multiple assignments
  • Exceptional organization, time management and project management skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs and adjust accordingly to ensure timely and budgetary commitments
  • Proficiency with Auto CAD preferred
